Chad is a Clinical Psychologist who has cultivated expertise in supporting individuals and families across a range of psychological and emotional challenges. Chad’s therapeutic style is empathic, creative, and collaborative. He takes an integrative approach, drawing from psychodynamic and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) principles to tailor the therapeutic process to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Chad has worked across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, offering therapy and support to people from diverse backgrounds and life circumstances. He concurrently practices at Tara Psychiatric Hospital in the Children’s Unit, where he provides individual and group therapy for children and adolescents, as well as parent support and family therapy.
His qualifications are:
He works with children, adolescents, and adults. His previous experience includes roles at leading public hospitals such as Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, and Steve Biko Academic Hospital, as well as community organisations including Gateway House, Ububele, and Headway. In addition, Chad has published Research namely “Narratives of Siblinghood: Exploring Perspectives of Adult Siblings of Autistic Individuals.”
Grounded in empathy, creativity, and psychological insight, he strives to create a space where clients can make sense of their experiences, recognise unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with their capacity for resilience, growth, and more fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.
