Two Journeys,
One Vision for Healing

“Born from the rich traditions of depth psychotherapy
and rooted in the ancient soil of relational wisdom”

Siyaqhubeka Sanctuary

A meeting of the minds in the quiet of the sanctuary

Keleigh and Prenita are two Clinicians brought together by a shared and deeply rooted passion for depth psychotherapy. Both believe that meaningful healing begins with looking inward, and that this inward work creates a grounded and intentional vision for how care is offered outward into the world.

Their values are closely aligned, centred on integrity, ethical and thoughtful care, empathy, and a sincere commitment to understanding each individual through their own lived experience. They hold a strong belief in offering care that honours every person, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, or cultural background. This commitment to inclusivity and dignity sits at the heart of their work.

Both founders share a deep awareness of the need for accessible, high-quality mental health care in South Africa. Beyond access, they are equally passionate about developing specialised programmes that thoughtfully address gaps in existing services. While both work with adults, their hearts are especially drawn to working with children and adolescents. A core vision of the practice is the development of an outpatient programme for children and adolescents that offers niche, specialised care through a multidisciplinary team that is carefully and intentionally selected. Every Clinician within this space is chosen for their experience, clinical skill, and genuine interest in working with young people.

The Pillars
of our Practice

Both founders share a deep awareness of the need for accessible, high-quality mental health care in South Africa

Human connection.

Keleigh and Prenita bring extensive professional experience, training, and qualifications to their work. More than this, they share a deep intentionality around how care is offered, believing that healing is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in human connection.

To Serve People

Siyaqhubeka Sanctuary was created from a heartfelt desire to serve. To serve individuals, families, and communities with dignity, grace, warmth, and compassion.

Multidisciplinary space

As co-founders and practising clinical psychologists, Keleigh and Prenita also envision the practice as a multidisciplinary space where clinicians work together thoughtfully to create the most attuned and effective treatment plans for each person.

Humility

Their approach is guided by humility, sincerity, and a deep respect for the therapeutic process. While they hold a strong vision for the work they do, they remain grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is reciprocal. They believe that, just as clinicians offer guidance and care, they are equally shaped and taught by those they work with.

Safe Place

It is with genuine privilege and gratitude that Keleigh and Prenita offer Siyaqhubeka Sanctuary as a space of care, understanding, and meaningful service to the community.
